WASHINGTON (7News) — A D.C.-based organization is putting together a bid to acquire TikTok. Project Liberty is a non-profit focusing on the digital future. It reportedly has a half-billion-dollar investment for the project. If successful, Project Liberty plans to institute changes - it wants people to have more agency over their digital identities and data. TikTok is suing the U.S. government in federal court over a potential ban, alleging the ban violates First Amendment rights. [ad]
